Getting Started

So sorry for the delay in launching this inaugural meeting of this meetup -- I'm not a very good organizer.

The Vertical Diner seems right, and this date was chosen to coincide with the Open Mic (https://www.meetup.com/Salt-Lake-City-Music-Meetup/events/rdpfgpyxhbfb/), as I noticed a bit of cross-over in groups.

I'd like to use this meetup to figure out what's next. I think there's a pretty broad range of people and goals, but seems like these kinds of meetups might be good:

• Try various restaurants.
• Trade recipes and knowledge.
• Cooking!
• Pot luck gatherings (parks/events).
• Anything else I missed.
