What we’re about
This group is the creative branch of Progressives of the Coastal Bend (meetup.com/coastalbendprogressives). Anyone in this group is encouraged to join the main group as well! ALL types of creators are welcome: writing, music, visual arts, drama, drag, dance, and more.
Our meetups are safe spaces for LGBTQ folks, second language learners, people of color, disabled and/or neurodivergent folks, and more. Please let us know what you need to be safe and comfortable when meeting up with us!
This group is managed by published mostly-prose writer Jason "Jay" Abshire, with support from Progressives of the Coastal Bend organizer Ellison powers, who writes and performs poetry and dabbles in visual arts.
