"Beethoven and Blue Jeans" is an annual performance of the Pensacola Symphony at the Saenger Theatre in downtown Pensacola. As the title indicates, the audience is encouraged to dress casually. Start time is 7:30 p.m.

The performance includes Beethoven's Symphony No. 2, Rossini's William Tell Overture, and a selection of John Williams's movie scores.

$50 tickets are still available. There are a few available for $26, but according to the ticket agent I spoke with, "they are not very good seats."

The plan is for everyone to purchase tickets separately and then we'll meet in the lobby at 7:15. About 7:25 we'll enter the auditorium (when the ushers are busy with other patrons) and sit together, regardless of what it says on our tickets.

Optional dinner at New Yorker Deli at 5:15 (please RSVP separately).
