What we’re about
We’re a group of fun loving peeps who just want to be out and social, living life to the fullest in the Pensacola/Navarre area. We’ll schedule a variety of events, from food to live music to paddle boarding and even sky diving!
Everyone in the group has the right to feel safe and comfortable at all times. Be kind. Don't bring drama. We have zero tolerance for things that make people want to leave the group.
Meetup.com isn't free. Because they charge us, there’s a $5 annual membership fee to join us. That's a small price to pay for the fun we provide, and with any money left over after we pay the bill, we’ll spend it on a group event.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Bands on the Beach: 9th Avenue Brass Band3 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Gulf Breeze, FL
June 17: 9th Avenue Brass Band
General BotB info:
- Music is from 7-9pm. It's a very good idea to get there early, because space fills up quickly.
- Bring your own chair.
- Food, drinks, and restrooms are available at nearby venues.
- There is almost always a small contingent of people that will meet at Casino Beach Bar in the late afternoon before the show.
How to find us:
- We generally try to get spots at the back, just shy of the sand, in the center. That's a hot spot, so space is not guaranteed for late arrivals. See the uploaded pic.
- If you're new to the group and we don't know you yet ... please make sure you have a real profile picture, so we know what you look like. Go to the marked area before the music starts and look lost. We'll spot ya.
- Shark in the Park (rescheduled)Blue Wahoos Ballpark, Pensacola, FL
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The Blue Wahoos will be showing a shark-themed movie on a screen positioned so we can watch from the waters of Pensacola Bay. The movie will be shown after the completion of the June 21 Blue Wahoos vs Montgomery Biscuits game (and, presumably the Saturday night fireworks) so the time listed above is approximate.Check the Blue Wahoos Facebook post for more details, especially if you would like to buy a package that includes a game ticket, t-shirt, and an inflatable tube.
This meetup event is not "let's all gather to watch baseball" ... it's just for the "let's watch a shark movie from in the water" portion. Bring your own kayak or SUP or pool noodles or whatever you like. They can't really keep us out of the water :-) As for launching, I'm sure we can put in at Bruce Beach or, if parking is absolutely awful, maybe Sanders Beach.
If you'd like to attend the game too, you can either buy their package (for a t-shirt), or just get a game ticket at https://www.milb.com/pensacola/tickets
From the FB post:
