We'll be at the Revival Patio behind Bible Club, in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. Come join us for food, drinks, and conversation at one of Portland's best outdoor patios for summertime frivolity!

Be careful that you can only enter the patio from around the side of Bible Club, not from inside the building. Bible Club, by the way, is a beautiful bar, and it's worth taking a peek inside, but it is far too small for our group. However, the patio is very spacious. I will try to get there early enough to nab seating around the firepit area, which is in the back right corner from where you first enter.

There is a restroom next to the patio, as you can see in the picture, but if it is occupied, you are allowed to go into the Bible Club and use their bathrooms as well. However, though the same staff works at both places, they do handle them as separate businesses. I do not think you can put orders inside and outside on the same check.

The Viking Beer Fest is an annual tradition organized by Nordic Northwest, and always a great time. There will be lots of beers, ciders, and meads to try, as well as musical entertainment, Viking reenactors, Nordic cuisine, and more. The price of admission includes your own souvenir glass and a bunch of tasting tickets. The event is on both Friday and Saturday, and the admission is good for both days. Volunteering at the festival is another way to get in without paying admission.

I am hosting a group that is gathering in front of the Ole Bolle troll at 1:45-2:00 PM on Saturday. (Very easy to find: here's a picture https://www.nordicnorthwest.org/troll ) Feel free to gather with our group at that time. If you get there later, message me, and I'll connect you to the rest of the group.

Note that the festival runs from 4-10 PM on Friday, and noon-10 PM on Saturday. As long as you pay admission, you are welcome to come for any and all of it. However, I am volunteering at the merch table until 1:45 PM on Saturday, so I am not starting this event until after my shift ends.
