Tier1.5 Chinook Landing to Sady River Delta exploratory outing

Details
I want to paddle out to the area of the Sandy River Delta and an island that is formed by it.
We are going to paddle against the current on Columbia on the way there. I've done it before on this stretch of the river and as long as we stay by the shore it's not too hard. But it does require ability to paddle faster than 2mph, so this outing is better for more experienced/faster paddlers with more nimble vessels.
If you find yourself not being able to do it - it's ok. You can try and find out. Worst case scenario - you turn around and paddle back.
Parking is $5.
Park immediately after the pay booth. You can park and then get parking pass at the machine.
Meeting spot: "45.5615, -122.4390" (copy / paste into Google maps)
Bring a vessel, all you need to paddle, water, food if you want, sun protection and layered clothing.
We'd appreciate a donation for the running of the group. All money goes towards the group.
This event is weather-dependent. If the weather does not cooperate we'll postpone.
If you don't have a kayak or have an extra spot in your kayak - feel free to post in comments.
With any questions message Jack.
