Secret Mall Apartment Documentary @ Cinema 21 and R&R Bar

Details
About: “In 2003, eight Rhode Islanders created a secret apartment inside a busy mall and lived there for four years, filming everything along the way. Far more than a prank, the secret apartment became a deeply meaningful place for all involved.”
I will always recommend buying your ticket ahead of time. This group visits local theaters in Portland proper (not AMC, Regal, etc.), so the theaters are smaller and could sell out. I would hate for anyone to show up and get turned away! On May 9th at 7pm, we are watching Secret Mall Apartment at Cinema 21. Post-movie discussion location will be at R&R Bar right next door!
Please come say hey, especially if this is your first time with the group! There will be a sign in the theater so we can all sit together (that is the goal anyway). After the movie, I’ll wait (with my sign) outside the theater for a few minutes for anyone that wants to walk to the discussion spot together. If you miss us out front, just head to the discussion spot and join us there. At our Meetup for Babygirl, we pulled off a “speed dating” style of discussion. We rotated in groups of 3 or 4 every 10 minutes. There was no specific topic to discuss, the convo was yours for the making. We completed 3 rotations. If anyone has feedback or suggestions please comment! Depending on the groups size, and the discussion spot location, we might be able to facilitate this again. The motivation for this idea is to alleviate pressure from the one-person-talking-at-a-time-model, without the complete chaos of everyone talking over each other at once. If this doesn’t seem viable when the time comes, folks can discuss and meander around the group as they please! Looking forward to seeing new & familiar faces.
