3 P's Photo Walk - Providence Park to Powell's

Details
DETAILS:
TOTAL DISTANCE: <3 miles
ELEVATION GAIN: 50 ft.
PACE: <2.0 mph
ESTIMATED HIKING TIME: ~ 2.0 hours
RATING: Easy to Moderate, some curbs, some cracked concrete, mostly pavement
Description: An opportunity for street and urban photography in downtown Portland's West End. Along the route, we will see some iconic Portland fixtures and signs, as well as just plain intriguing sights and people.
We will begin at the main entrance to Providence Park, meander a route to Powell's Books on Burnside, and then return to our starting point.
I will be parking at the Sunset Max Transit Center and riding to the Providence Park Transit Station. This is a cheaper and safer way to get downtown, IMHO.
I selected this time window as the weather forecast is partly cloudy (better for photography) and comfortable temperatures.
Information:
My hiking style is to pay attention to our surroundings and take photos of whatever captures my eye. Please do not expect this to be a fast-paced hike.
We also need to keep a pace and not stop too often or for too long, or we'll never finish.
Know that I am a passionate hobbyist photographer, not a “pro”, not a camera expert, nor a classroom teacher. This is not a photo workshop; we are shooting for pleasure, perhaps asking questions and sharing tips on composition and photo processing. I'm sure we will learn from each other.
Smartphone cameras are great for this walk.
