Poetry & Potluck

Poetry & Potluck is a chance to share a simple dish and a piece of text that you love. Come in, drop your dish off at the potluck table and mingle. Readings start around 7:30 or a little earlier.

You can define “text” any way you’d like. We have had people share:
-stand up jokes
-perfect chicken salad recipes
-book excerpts
-movie scripts
-dirty spam emails
-favorite quotes
-fluxus/ performance art
-song lyrics
-and of course poetry, your own work or the work of your favorite poet

---There is also an open mural wall with art supplies for those that want to explore some visual art.

All in all, we come together slurping on delicious food and listen to the words that everyone has brought to share.
