Talk by Debby Sugarman

Strong Relationships Are a Business Strategy.

Every founder has a story where a fractured partnership derailed everything.

The product was solid. The market was there. But the relationship fell apart, and so did the company.

This workshop is for entrepreneurs who want to get ahead of that.

We'll look honestly at how relationship dynamics shape business outcomes, then spend the majority of our time exploring practices that keep relationships healthy and small tensions from becoming expensive ones. We'll also cover how to recognize when a conflict has grown past what you can handle alone, and where to turn when it has.

Hands-on and practical, you'll leave with tools you can use the next day, before anything breaks.

Debby Sugarman brings together activism and heart, vision and practicality. Early in her career, while working on environmental issues, she realized that the causes she cared about were won or lost based on the strength of the human relationships behind them and the quality of communication among the people fighting for them. That realization set her on a path to becoming a catalyst for more effective, creative, and connected ways of working together.

Today, Debby is a facilitator, mediator, ZEGG Forum facilitation trainer, and transformational coach specializing in group process, interpersonal communication, and collaborative decision-making. She works with individuals and organizations to build the relational skills that make meaningful work possible, helping people navigate conflict, communicate with clarity, and foster creativity and trust.
