What we’re about
Calling all Portland-area Jews aged 60 and up! Looking to connect with others in your age range for friendship, laughter, and community? You’ve found the right place.
This group is all about community — and, of course, a good dose of fun.
Whether it’s gathering for Shabbat dinners, celebrating holidays, playing Mahjong, meeting for happy hour, enjoying a local hike, or catching a film, we want this group to be a welcoming space where MOTs 60+ can meet more often, make new Jewish friends, and share both lighthearted and meaningful moments together.
Our events often carry a Jewish flavor or cultural nod — like a Jewish-led art workshop or cooking night — but all are welcome to join regardless of observance or background. Participation is open to those who identify as Jewish (by heritage, conversion, or currently converting) and live in the Portland area. Singles, couples, and interfaith families are welcome, including non-Jewish life partners of MOTs.
Our goal is to build a warm, connected community where everyone feels welcome. Each event brings familiar faces and new ones — and everyone’s welcome at the table.
Have an idea for a fun activity? Share it or host a meetup — our community thrives when everyone gets involved.
