Learn something interesting while you have a great time connecting with the fabulous PHP Community!

This month we will be joined by Christopher Pitt (@assertchris), an expert web developer, PHP programmer/coder and writer. He usually works on application architecture, though sometimes you'll find him building compilers or robots. He also gets very excited about Game Development.

Get ready for a fun time learning about "Making a Game in Three Engines"

As developers, we can sometimes think that the programming we do is really specialized. That it would take more than a little time to get the accumulated knowledge out of our own brains, and put it into the brains of our co-workers, partners, or kids.

Turns out; the specialization is in how we approach problems, and not in the solutions we come up with.

Do you think you could program in a game development environment? How about a completely visual programming language; built for kids to learn to program?

In this talk, we're going to see how the same game can be built in three vastly different programming environments: Scratch, Godot, and JavaScript.
