Come join us as Loren Brown and John Cvetko share with us their test automation tools they built to help with some of the quality issues concerning cover oregon and other projects.

An and I chatted briefly with them last month and they have some interesting ideas on how to handle web elements that change often and/or are dynamic. As well as an approach for domain experts to play in this area.

As always Food, Beer & Space provided by Vircon & Sauce Labs! Hope to see you there!

Domain Expert Automation Programming (DEAP)

DEAP is a component of an automation testing framework, in an exploratory phase, that enables non-programmers to harness the power of sophisticated data-driven automation and system load tests.

It simplifies and guides the creation of complex scripts through the use of an intuitive user interface allowing automation to be done in days instead of weeks or months.

The idea behind the DEAP component is to reduce the need for highly skilled and expensive automation software programmers while enabling the business experts to create more sophisticated and automated end-to-end testing scenarios.
