Sew Together & Sewcialize! + Pillowcase Workshop

ALL LEVELS WELCOME!
Have some projects you are working on and want to work with other sewing-enthusiasts? Hit a snag and need to bounce ideas off other experienced sewists? Bring your machine and your project and let's create together! I will be bringing some basics that everyone can use: an iron, a pressing mat, a cutting mat, & rotary cutter.
For Pillowcase Workshop:
Our member Holly is going to be demonstrating how she makes her custom pillowcases! The dimensions for fabric are for a standard pillow, if you want to do a queen/king size, Holly can give updated dimensions at the sewcial.
If you'd like to follow along, bring the following:
- Main Fabric: 27"x42-45"
- Cuff Fabric (opening end): 9"x42-45"
- Accent trimpiece: 2.5"x42-45"
- Thread to match
- Sewing machine, pins, & scissors
Note: Feel free to bring any craft such as crochet or knitting of that's more your speed!
Bonus for if you have a self-made item you want to wear and show off to your fellow crafters.
