What we’re about
Who is the ideal audience you foresee being active members of this Shopify Community and why would they want to join?
- Independent E-Commerce Store Owners (like by my PDX Shopify Meetup co-organizer Rhett who owns historicprints.com - he can learn about shopify tools like Shopify POS, new Marketplace Apps, share his personal experience & insight with others, and possibly find talent for his next theme upgrade or custom app idea)
- Shopify Power Users: people who work for a Company / Brand that use Shopify regularly to do their job (like Eliot from Portland Gear who creates Branded content and manages campaigns and other brand initiatives)
- Marketing Specialists looking to get the most out of Shopify platform (like my buddy Daniel from Double Hi that wants to learn how they can harness the power of Shopify and possibly find technical assistance for special projects)
- Students looking to learn about all things Ecommerce - specifically Shopify (great for those majoring in: marketing, web design/development, other tech/STEM fields)
- Generalized Software Engineers looking to expand their knowledge and learn more about Shopify ecosystem
- Freelance and Agency Shopify Developers (like my Lead Engineer Nick from Solver) that want to learn the latest Shopify tips, tricks, tools, changes, and share their knowledge with others. They also have a great opportunity to acquire new Job/Gig Leads
- Affiliated At-Large Networkers (like our buddy Ali who started his own Accounting firm specifically catering to Tech Freelancers and Agencies)
Our primary goal is to foster meaningful relationships that bring us joy. It just so happens we love to geek out about Shopify. If that sounds like something that resonates with you... Join PDX Shopify Meetup today!
