Singles Night @ The People's Courts

Details
Some of us have been to a comedy show or two at The People's Courts and had a fun time playing ping pong, cornhole, and/or pickleball afterwards. Well, it turns out they host a Singles Night from time to time! Care to check it out with me?
There will be a mix of people from our Meetup group and people who heard about the Singles Night at TPC another way, but everyone should be single and in our general age range!
Tickets:
Regular tickets (everything except pickleball) are $25 or 2 for $40 and pickleball tickets* are $35. Get your ticket here.
Here's the schedule:
- 6:30-7: Check in and get your name tag — and pickleball ticket holders will pick up their schedule for the Pickleball Scramble.
- 7-7:30: Ice breaker, which they describe as: "Break the ice with some fun prepared games led by your hosts: Liberty & Alex."
- 7-10: Mix, mingle, eat snacks, and play unlimited games of bocce ball, cornhole, ping pong, foosball, Giant Jenga, and Giant Connect 4. Board games and cards will also be available. Your ticket includes some free snacks, and they will also have food food and drinks for purchase.
- 7:30-10 (for pickleball ticket holders only): 8 Minute Pickleball Scramble. I asked for more info on this, and they said people who get the pickleball ticket will play 5 games that are 8 minutes long over the course of the night, so there should be plenty of time to mix and mingle between games.
For more info, check out the event on the TPC website and the EventBrite link.
And don't forget to get your ticket here.
*Note: Pickleball ticket holders should already know how to play pickleball, including serving and general rules of the game, and this ticket gets you into the the Pickleball Scramble. There will also be a limited number of pickleball tickets, so if you want to play, get your ticket before they sell out. You don't need to bring a paddle, but you can if you want.

Tips for making a connection at/after the event
- If you meet someone you'd like to get to know more outside of the event (romantically or platonically), you can:
- >>> Give them your phone number (as opposed to asking for theirs) in person, so the ball's in their court to text you later if they're also interested.
- >>> If they're in the Meetup group (reminder: probably less than half of the people there will be), you can add them as a "connection" on Meetup after the event. If they add you too, you'll become a connection and you can message each other. You can add 3 connections after an event (without ever paying for Meetup+). Learn more here.
- Make sure to follow the Community Rules in this group's About section. These include no harassing or aggressive behavior, no messaging people you haven't met, and being respectful to fellow members and venue staff. If anyone violates these rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, please let the Meetup event host (Kristina) — or in this case, Liberty or another staff member at The People's Courts — know right away so we can help.
