Singles Salmon River Hike

Join us for a hike on the Salmon River Trail! This is an out-and-back hike of approximately 8 miles round trip. It gains about 1,000 feet over the course of about 4 miles, it's not terribly steep, most of the effort is simply the distance. It follows the Salmon River through old growth forest for some time before gaining altitude and reaching a canyon overlook. The trail continues beyond, but we will turn around there.

It does enter the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness, so the group size is limited due to wilderness rules.

What to bring:

• Water
• Layered clothing, it will likely be cool and sunny
• Snacks
• Good hiking shoes
