OMSI After Dark: Pickle It!

How does meandering around the Oregon Museum of Science (OMSI) at night with a drink or two sound? In addition to the usual museum experience, OMSI After Dark Events feature science demos, performances, and food and beverage vendors offering samples and more. This month’s theme is Pickle It! Unfortunately, this event is not free, and you will need to purchase a ticket online or at the door in order to attend. They offer a couple ticket options. I will be getting the cheapest one which is OMSI After Dark General Admission for $27.00 per person.

From OMSI’s website: “Our third-annual OMSI After Dark: Pickle It! event is back and it’s going to be a really big dill. Pickle It! is a guest favorite, centered on all things fermentation: pickles, kraut, hot sauce, and of course our microbe buddies. Grab your gherkin-loving friends and learn all about fermentation at this bound-to-be-fragrant event!” You can learn more and buy tickets here.

What's the plan?
The event runs from 6-10 p.m. Let's meet up by 5:45 outside the front entrance so we can all find each other before doors open. I will plan to arrive by 5:40 and provide any updates about exact location in the comments. Likely will have a red balloon to make our group easy to spot.

-Please keep your RSVP up to date and check in with me to get your name crossed off the sign-in sheet when you arrive so you don't get marked as a no-show. We regularly remove people with 2+ no-shows from the group.
-As always, make sure to follow the Community Rules in this group's About section. These include no harassing or aggressive behavior, no touching anyone at an event without explicit verbal consent, using your real name and photo in your Meetup profile, and only attending events you're on the 'going' list for. If anyone violates these rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, please let the event host (Rachel) know or reach out to another group organizer (like Max, Kevin, Cory or Erin).
