Oldies VS Funk Dance Night

Want to dance the night away to funk and oldies?! There is No Cover Charge so just bring yourself + some hot dog and drinking money https://www.donnie.vegas/menu

Music starts at 10 pm so I was thinking it might be fun to meet at Salt and Straw first at 9 pm and then walk over to the bar. Of course if you prefer to meet us at the club, that's totally fine, too!
UPDATE: *Our group now may be a bit too big for Salt and Straw... Would folks prefer to just meet at the bar? Let me know, please!*

Everyone will go on a waitlist. I'll move some people over from the waitlist, with a priority going to people who will help balance the gender ratio, haven't no-showed before, are fun/friendly regulars, etc.

A heads-up that the DJs won’t be able to take requests because they are spinning records and not playing music off a laptop.

Some ground rules:

• If you ask someone to dance or get asked, please know that ‘yes’ and ‘no’ are totally valid answers that don’t require explanation (and anything that isn’t a yes is a no). But if at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again…by asking someone else to dance.
• All the normal Community Rules for the group apply, such as being respectful and kind, no harassing or overly forward behavior, don't touch anyone without explicit verbal consent, etc. If anyone breaks these rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, let me (Cory) (or a Donnie Vegas employee) know as soon as possible.
