Everybody dance now! Whether you're a bachelor looking for a partner or you think you're better off alone, we invite you to come jump around, get low and rock your body with us. We're gonna have a great time! No diggity, no doubt. And who knows, maybe you'll find someone to be your lover. (I have too much fun looking up these songs... sorry not sorry.)
This is a special 14th anniversary '90s & 2000s Dance Flashback music video dance party where they'll be pumping up the jam for us in the beautiful and spacious Crystal Ballroom.
- Buy your ticket ahead of time, and don't wait long because it will likely sell out. (They're $20.96 after fees.)
- We'll get the party started at 7 at Ringlers Pub right next to/underneath the Crystal Ballroom to socialize for about an hour before heading up to dance.
- We'll give everyone a glow stick bracelet so we can all spot people from our group more easily when we're dancing.
- Inside the Crystal Ballroom we’ll have a few tables reserved for our Meetup group, so we’ll have a little base camp for people to hang out while they’re not dancing — and a place for people to leave their phone/purse/coat if they want to. (The Crystal Ballroom usually has a coat check that is something like $4 and only takes cash.)
- Dress however you like. Some people will probably dress up a bit, and there may be some folks wearing their favorite 90s/2000s fashion. It will absolutely get hot in therre though.
Housekeeping:
- Please keep your RSVP up to date and check in when you arrive so you don't get marked as a no-show. We regularly remove people with 2+ no-shows from the group.
- Make sure to follow the Community Rules in this group's About section. These include being respectful and kind, no harassing or aggressive behavior, no touching anyone at an event without explicit verbal consent, and only showing up to events you're on the 'going' list for. If anyone breaks these rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, please let Kristina (or a Crystal Ballroom employee) know.
