Chasing Spring Waterfalls
Details
Spring and sprung and it's time to go chase some waterfalls! The Trail of Ten Falls is a gorgeous hike that hits (surprise) 10 waterfalls over the course of the ~8 mile full loop. Several you can walk behind, and this is the time of year when they are really dramatic.
The trail is well-maintained, but in springtime it can be a bit slippery. Good hiking shoes are recommended, as are waterproofs depending on the forecast. At a relaxed pace we are planning to complete the loop from South Falls and back in less than 5 hours, and the goal is to be back home by around 5-6 PM at the latest.
We will plan to meet at the South Falls Cafe at 9:00 A.M. for those looking to do the full loop and all 10 falls. For those who prefer a shorter day, there is a bridge one can take around Winter Falls that cuts the length significantly (and you only miss 3 of the 10 waterfalls)
Afterwards we will likely celebrate our 10 for 10 here:

And we'll probably find some food nearby as well.
As far coordinating transport there and back, feel free to use the message section of the event to try to arrange for carpooling. I will be coming from Salem that day so I'm afraid I cannot bring anyone there. As usual, if you do carpool with someone please give them a couple bucks to offset fuel and all that.
