PDX Stoa (Stoicism Meeting & Discussion)

Come to the Sellwood Library to meet up with fellow Portland area Stoics. Come to share your Stoic journey and to learn from others the beauty and utility of this ancient philosophy. This is an informal session and is a good opportunity for both those who are new to the philosophy and those who have been studying for years.

Again, we're asking attendees to bring one of their favorite short passages on Stoicism. Be prepared to read your passage out loud with the intention of discussing how the passage can inform or direct our daily practice. It's nice (but not mandatory) if you bring 8 to 10 copies of your passage so folks can read along with you.
