PDX Stoa (Stoic Philosophy Meeting & Discussion)

Details

If modern life has you feeling like your inbox is smoking, and your group chat is combusting, then it might be time to reboot your inner peace.

Join us for the next PDX Stoa gathering, where a bunch of calm-ish Portlanders get together to talk about how to stay sane in an unhinged world—with a little help from ancient Stoic philosophy.

🗓 Wednesday, August 27th
🕕 6:00 PM
📍 Annette & Graeme’s Home at 655 SE 68th Avenue, Portland, OR 97215

We’ll start with cold drinks and snacks (served at a safe distance from open flames), then move to the patio to talk about staying cool when life insists on being a dumpster fire.

What to Bring:
🧠 A short Stoic quote or passage that speaks to you
📄 About 10–12 printed copies of your quote so others can read along

No need for a PhD in Greek. Just bring something that says, “The world is chaos, but I’m at least trying to chill.”

Come for the snacks, stay for the sanity. Leave just a little more fireproof.
