ABOUT THIS EVENT:
Portland has a lot of nice art events. This is not one of those.
Paint Fight PDX is a live art battle where local artists race the clock, create under pressure, and fight for glory in front of a screaming crowd. Every piece made that night gets auctioned off on the spot — art is born and released back into the world in the same evening. It's chaotic. It's joyful. It's exactly weird enough.
This month's lineup is stacked:

🃏 Spader the Fool — Former animation major, corporate America escapee, cryptozoology believer, and the most devoted James Spader fan you will ever meet. He will fight you about Tuff Turf and he will win. His work is vibrant, fever-dreamy, and absolutely not safe for boring walls!!!

🎛 PACTPUNK — Multimedia-monger. Longtime hodge-podger. Avid jimmy-rigger. Aspiring bug food. Painter, animator, video artist, musician. Defies categorization. Delivers chaos.

🌀 Aventine — An artist of form and process spanning clowning, acting, painting, and makeup. Their style: ethereal elegance refined out of chaos. Which, honestly, describes this whole event.
