Join PDX Women Coders for a casual biweekly study session! The Backend & Systems Guild is where we gather to study experts in the industry and discuss what we've learned. It's a great opportunity to improve your skills while connecting with your peers in the industry.
For the next four months, we'll read "Designing Data Intensive Applications" by Martin Kleppmann. Before our next meeting, we'll read the first half of Ch. 5 (pg. 151 - 174).
Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, this guild provides a fantastic opportunity to deepen your knowledge, engage in meaningful discussions, and network with fellow enthusiasts.
Some additional details:
- We'll meet every 2nd/4th Saturday @ 10AM PT
- Virtual
- Anyone can attend, regardless of gender
- Reading not required for attendance (but it's more fun if you read along 😉)
