We are a new Portland, Oregon based Astrology group who meet in person. We aim to support local astrologers of all levels.

Whether you have a personal story you'd like to express or a bit of astrological knowledge you want to share, we welcome you to consider participating in a Story Share at a future PDX Astrology meetup.
It's easier and less intimidating than you think (we promise). In fact, we'll even help you put something together so you'll feel prepared. We welcome Story Share between 10-20 minutes.

Have you studied the techniques of Hellenistic Astrology? Have you read the ancient authors? Do you still feel like there is something missing? Well there is! It is the philosophy underlying these ancient techniques.
Teleology is the ancient development theory upon which all Hellenistic techniques have been developed. In this informative and philosophical lecture, we will learn everything these is to know about Teleology for the modern astrologer.

About Andrea L. Gehrz
Andrea Gehrz has been a working astrologer for over 25 years. Shee is well-known for her Greek-to-English translations of several Astrology texts including The Introduction to the Tetrabiblos, The Vettius Valens Anthology, and a book by Porphyry of Tyre about how the soul gets in the body entitled Ensoulment. Perhaps you have read Astrological Remediation: A Guide for the Modern Practitioner. This book is read around the world, and was written by Gehrz. Andrea currently teaches at Kepler College and in Portland, Oregon at Blackthorne Mercantile. The current program at Blackthorn includes classes on Monday and Thursday nights from 7-9pm PST. Andrea is also accepting new one-on-one students and apprentices.
