Why learn to calculate a birth chart by hand? For one, it’s a required skill if you plan to pursue certification through professional organizations like ISAR or NCGR. But beyond the practical, this class is for those who want to understand how the “sausage is made” — to look behind the curtain and grasp the astronomical foundations that underpin astrology. You’ll gain insight into how ancient astrologers transformed precise mathematical calculations into symbolic language.

Cost: FREE
Time: 2–4 PM
Duration: approx. 2 hrs per session

Day 1 – March 8: Calculating the Planets (using an ephemeris)
Day 2 – March 15*: Calculating the Ascendant and Midheaven (using a Table of Houses)
Day 3 – March 22 (optional): Calculating the Houses (using a Table of Houses)
Day 4 – March 29 (optional): Integration and wrap-up

Difficulty: Open to all levels of astrology experience. Advanced material on Day 3 and 4 is optional.

*Day 2 – March 15 class will be from 2:30–4:30 PM
