Educator Panel: What Tech Works in the Classroom

Details
Our first meetup of the new year was one of the top requests in our 2019 survey: hearing from educators who know what tech is working in their classrooms (and why!).
The panel of guest speakers includes:
Bev Satterwhite - 5th grade teacher, Illahee Elementary School (Evergreen Public Schools)
Ben Kort - Librarian/Media Specialist, Fircrest Elementary School (Evergreen Public Schools)
Debra Hernanz - Technology Teacher, Oregon Episcopal School (Elementary school)
Hosting the panel will be Tavia Clark who was previously a school librarian and a high school English teacher before becoming a Digital Learning Coach at the Friday Institute and now working as Content Developer for Clarity Innovations.
Planned Agenda:
6-6:15--Networking/ refreshments
6:15-6:30--New folks introductions
6:30-7pm--Panel discusion
7-7:30--Networking/ refreshments
NWEA has generously lent us their space. Bring your business cards (or post-its and a pen) and be ready to meet and reacquaint yourself with peers working at the intersection of education and technology. See you there!
