What we’re about
Entertainment & Crafts in Southeast Portland is a group for events such as knitting social meetings, open mic nights and other local events for supporting entertainment & crafts. All events will be hosted at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in SE PDX, near the intersection of Holgate Blvd and SE 92 ave. This location is near the MAX Green Line Holgate station. Free on-site parking. Our events are not church affiliated events.
For the knitting social meetings.
Join others and learn to knit or bring your own knitting project you’re working on.
No experience necessary. All ages welcome. Yarn and needles available if you’re a beginner. Experienced knitters in the group to help you learn new skills, such as European knitting, multiple colors, patterns, etc. We need input from participants to find out what time of day is best and what days of the week. There is no charge for admission. Bring your own beverage.
For the entertainment meetings. We have no events currently scheduled however we need your input on when you would like to have them. We are planning on holding open mic nights, for all kinds of entertainment including spoken word, poetry reading, singing and music, stand up comedy. There is no charge for admission for these events either. Bring your own beverage. Anyone can join this group, and the events are all ages.
