Understanding AI Agent Architecture: LangChain, LangGraph, and Tool-Calling Systems by Charles Rice

An educational walkthrough explaining how tool-calling AI agents are structured using LangChain and LangGraph. Covers the key architectural components: the @tool decorator, bind_tools() method, LangGraph state machines with agent and tool nodes, and the routing logic that determines when tools should be executed.
