What we’re about
This meetup is intended to be a community of people who are interested in peaceful parenting in our modern world. This group is open to anybody and everybody—parents, teachers, community members, people interested in becoming (peaceful) parents, people looking to heal their own inner child, etc. We're open to a variety of political persuasions and any religious affiliation. We're looking to meetup on Saturdays and read and discuss books that explain aspects of peaceful parenting and subjects that are relevant to the modern world (i.e. screens, video games, social media, etc.).

This group does not believe in or condone spanking or yelling. We also do not believe that surgeries and "gender affirmation" are good solutions for children who experience gender dysphoria (they need nurturing to help them accept the sex with which they were born). While thorough dialogue over honest questions and disagreements is encouraged, if you want to preach an ideology of spanking or gender transition, then this is probably not the group for you. We are not afraid to take controversial stances on controversial subjects if it means doing what is best for children, who are are most precious resource and investment.
