This event is open to all! We have two groups going to Suwanee Parks: one to Sims Lake Park and the other to George Pierce Park. Each group will meet in the parking lot of their respective destination at 7:45 AM on Saturday, March 28.

At Sims Lake Park, sometimes ducks, geese, herons, hawks, turtles, and songbirds are present. Photo opportunities can be spectacular, but at other times they can be limited to only the fountain, lake, and turtles. If we run out of good targets, the Sims group will join the George Pierce Park group. It’s less than a 10-minute drive. George Pierce Park almost always offers excellent opportunities for photos of ducks, geese, woodpeckers, turtles, and herons. Lots of songbirds too and sometimes hawks, cormorants, egrets, and osprey.

This meetup is free and open to the public, but registration is required. It’s for photographers of any skill level who enjoy nature and wildlife. All registrants will be required to sign a standard liability waiver. We hope you will join us!
