Máme obrovskou radost, že se nám podařilo domluvit společnou akci značek Peak Design × Starý Mac!

24. 1. – u příležitosti výročí narozenin prvního počítače Macintosh (a taky Steva Jobse) proběhne v prostorách Peak Design Prague Store výstava sbírky Starý Mac!

Výstava poběží od 10:00 do 18:00 a nebude to jen pasivní prohlížení exponátů. Všechny počítače budou zapnuté, plně funkční a připravené k vyzkoušení! A navíc vás čeká i odpolední program, občerstvení a hlavně dvě pecky:

- 14:30–16:00 – poutavá přednáška o historii společnosti Apple
- 16:15–18:00 – povídání o Peak Designu, Applu a hlavně Kalifornii, kde obě značky sídlí

Zapojí se nejen Michael Vita, majitel sbírky Starý Mac a tým Peak Design, ale také František Paikrt, který s Applem dlouhé roky přímo spolupracoval a který nás celým programem provede.

We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ve managed to put together a joint event with Peak Design × Starý Mac!

On January 24 – to mark the anniversary of the birth of the very first Macintosh computer (and also Steve Jobs’ birthday) – the Starý Mac collection exhibition will take place at the Peak Design Prague Store.

The exhibition will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and it won’t be just a passive display. All computers will be powered on, fully functional, and ready for hands-on testing! On top of that, you can look forward to an afternoon program, refreshments, and most importantly, two highlights:

• 2:30–4:00 PM – an engaging lecture on the history of Apple
• 4:15–6:00 PM – a talk about Peak Design, Apple, and especially California, where both brands are based

The program will feature Michael Vita, owner of the Starý Mac collection, the Peak Design team, and František Paikrt, who worked closely with Apple for many years and will guide us through the entire event.
