Join us at Peel Street Poetry Meetup for a vibrant and diverse community of poets, actors, writers and performers who come together to share their work, just listen, or step up to the open mics to read sonnets, funny limerics, spoken word performances, blank verse, famous works or anything and everything. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, this is the perfect space to connect with other like-minded individuals, discuss your favorite poems, and be inspired by the power of words. We love first-timers most of all, and come from all walks of life. You don't have to perform! Either way you'll hear poems in languages other than English, both local, expat and foreign visitors, and events launching books, fundraisers and themed nights! Come check us out!
