Open mic poetry night. One rule: NO CONTEXT
You cannot PREAMBLE, EXPLAIN, POSTSCRIPT, CONTEXTUALIZE, JUSTIFY, ANALYZE, or otherwise. You cannot even tell us the title of your poem. You simply get up on the mic, say the words "no context," then read your poem, then leave the mic. Can you resist the urge for an indulgent long form essay before every single poem you read to desperately explain what your deep allusions meant? Let's see!
