In 2005 a small gathering of poets started in a little bar called Joyce Is Not Here. Now, a full 20 years later, we gather at Social Room to celebrate the many years of open mics in bombastic style!
Please join PEEL STREET POETRY for its 20th Anniversary Celebration and Poetry Slam competition!
If you would like to join the POETRY SLAM portion of the evening please message PSP, Meetup or on facebook, or inform Henrik or Akin in person or via whatsapp!
Entrants in the slam will have 10 minutes to write a poem on a prompt they have never seen before. One selected poet from each group of 4-5 will go through to the final.
Finalists will have their poems published in the next edition of the Tentacle Zine, and the grand winner will receive that in addition to some lovely additional surprises! Sign up now!
