The Leicester Ink and Inspiration Writing Circle is a space for those of us who enjoy putting pen to paper and want to make time for our creative practice. We meet to share ideas, work through blocks, and offer a bit of gentle support to one another as we navigate our various writing projects. Whether you are working on a novel, writing poetry, or just looking to get back into the habit of journaling, you are welcome to join us.
Our sessions are informal and focused on encouragement rather than critique. We usually start with a brief check-in to see what everyone is working on, followed by some quiet writing time and an opportunity to share snippets of our work if you feel comfortable doing so. It is a relaxed environment, and the main goal is simply to show up and spend time in the company of other local writers.
