Join us for an 8.5-mile round-trip trek to Alamere Falls. We are meeting at 7:00 AM sharp to beat the parking chaos and hit the beach right at a perfect negative low tide. Carpooling strongly recommended to save space in the small parking lot.

Alamere falls is one of a few dozen "tidefalls" in the world, emptying directly into the ocean. The hike is timed for us to arrive right at low tide so we can access the bottom of the waterfall. There are two smaller (but still nice!) waterfalls just upstream.

It's shaping up to be a hot June day, so wearing quick-drying apparel or water-friendly layers is highly recommended - the ocean surf and waterfall pools will be the perfect way to cool off. The last 50ft of the trail include a sketchy rock scramble - bring good hiking shoes. Pack water and snacks, and see you there!
