International Observe the Moon Night

Join us for 2026 International Observe the Moon Night (IOMN) as PAS and the Foothill College Astronomy Department host viewings at the Foothill Observatory and at the adjacent parking lot on the Foothill College campus.

If you have a telescope, feel free to bring it and set up in the parking lot. It's a great way to share views with others, too. Sunset is just after 7 PM, so get there a bit early to set up.

International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public engagement program that encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration. Everyone on Earth is invited to join the celebration by hosting or attending an event.
