San Jose Summer Comedy Bash 2016 ( $5 List)

Hey guys! I have a friend comedian that is headlining this year's Summer Comedy Bash at the San Jose Improv.

He gave me a code word that gets people in for only $5 if you guys are interested would love to do a meet !!! Great way to make new friends at a super fun event!

The San Jose Improv presents the 5th Annual Summer Comedy Bash featuring the top working Stand Up Comedians in California all on one monster show. This year will be hosted by Kabir "Kabeezy" Singh who is fresh off his work on the latest season of Fox's hit comedy show "The Family Guy" Kabir also won the 2014 San Francisco International Comedy Competition by coming in first place in all five shows in the first round which was the first time that has ever happened in it's 39 year rich history which includes some of the best comedians including Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Sinbad, Ellen, Dane Cook and many more. Kabir was also seen on last season's "Stand Up Revolution" with "Fluffy" which aired on "Comedy Central".

This year's comedy Bash line-up will leave you in stitches and should not be missed under any circumstances!

Carlos Rodriguez ( 2013 and 2014 Sacramento Comedian of the Year)

Carlos Rodriguez was thrown into comedy, being a baby boy born into a large family of mostly girl cousins he quickly became a fast talking entertainer which eventually led him to comedy. Taking the stage you see the inner child come out with all the passion, excitement and energy of a new performer with the grace and comfort of a seasoned pro. Carlos brings a clever, silly and approachable voice to comedy. In a fun and relatable way his observational humor touches beyond daily occurrences to deep rooted memories of his childhood, views on the simplest ideas and the most off beat subject matter. He is a regular at comedy clubs throughout the US including California, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Texas, Nevada and Arizona. He has headlined for our military troops overseas and been on stages on 3 different continents (Europe, Asia and Australia). Shannon Murphy (2016 Bay Area Comedy Competition Runner Up )

When Shannon Murphy isn't taking care of other people's children, helping women give birth, or trying to break up with an engineer, she's talking into a microphone, because she was tired of all her delightful and unexpected observations being interrupted by people who aren't as funny. With her sweet and calm demeanor, Shannon has the pleasure of surprising audiences all over the San Francisco Bay Area with her dry wit that makes them lean in to hear what she's going to say next. Shannon has opened for Lachlan Patterson, John Heffron, John Witherspoon, Greg Behrendt, and Bryan Callen at the San Jose Improv where she is a regular. Shannon was named Top Comic in the 2015 Funny Fest Comedy Competition and she was the runner-up in the 2016 Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition.

The Laff Gang ( Mark Smalls, David Naimyar, Andrew Orolfo )

The Laff Gang is a crew of some of the hardest working stand up Comedians in the East Bay. You can catch at at pretty much every stand up comedy club around 7 days a week working their craft and killing audiences all over California including Comedians Mark Smalls who recently placed Third Place in the Bay Area Stand Up Comedy Competition.

Mark Smalls is a hard hitting comic out of the SF Bay Area. Whether it's a tough bar room or a nice comedy club Mark pulls no punches with his comedy. Performed in SF Sketchfest 2016 and placed 3rd place in Rooster T Feathers comedy competition in 2016. You can catch him regularly Docs Lab in SF or working with #Hellafunny at the SF Foundry.

History tells us that Andrew Orolfo was never born, but created. In some cultures, their stories suggest that he emerged from the ashes of an active volcano, unaffected by it's immense temperatures. His only purpose to wander the world and document his explorations. After an expedition that lasted for decades, he found himself for the first time, lost. For what reason was he doing what he had been doing for these years. Why archive all of his findings? Then, he found himself. In a place called the Bay Area. Where he was introduced to Stand-Up comedy. Now he is able to reveal his tales, of what he was and what he has yet to become.

David Naimyar has his own brand of smart and sometimes but mostly not edgy Stand-up Comedy. David's roots are in the San Francisco bay area and have helped shaped his views on gentrification. He has performed his signature brand of smart, energetic comedy in clubs, colleges and bars since 2012. He's commonly referred to as the freedom fighter of comedy by his mother, David Naimyar is a comedian that is rarely forgotten and rarely missed.

SAM BAM
Born in Stockton, stand-up comic Sam Bam has been seen on BET's Comic View and Coming to the Stage. He was a finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and placed second in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. He's known for his hilarious true stories of real-life pain, which he explains with the catchphrase: "it wasn't funny then, but it's funny now."
Sam Bam brings his loose, storytelling brand of comedy to Tommy T's in Pleasanton for a night of big laughs. A 10-year veteran of the comedy circuit, Sam has shared the stage with everyone from Eddie Griffin to Kat Williams, made appearances on BET, Comic View and Latino Laugh Festival, and was a semi-finalist in the highly competitive San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Sharing real-life experiences and tell-it-like-it-is insights, Sam Bam's comedy pulls no punches.
