Understanding Land Contracts: What Rental Property Investors Need to Know
Hosted by our sister organization the Peninsula Real Estate Investors Association – Your Local Hub for Real Estate Education and Networking
Peninsula LLA brings together rental property owners, landlords, and real estate professionals who are serious about building long-term wealth. Our events are designed to deliver practical knowledge you can put to use immediately—no fluff, no hype.
This month, we’re diving into land contracts with real estate attorney Carly Niño. Whether you’re looking to acquire more rentals using creative financing or exploring ways to sell off properties without traditional bank financing, this session is for you.
What’s on the agenda:
-What is a land contract and when it makes sense for rental investors
-Structuring deals legally to protect both parties
-Avoiding common legal pitfalls
-Real-world examples from the investor trenches
-Live Q&A with Carly Niño
If you’re a buy-and-hold investor, this is a powerful tool to add to your strategy—especially in a high-interest-rate environment where creative deal-making is key.
Who should attend:
Rental property investors, landlords, and anyone looking to expand their portfolio or exit creatively
Don’t miss this opportunity to sharpen your deal structuring skills and connect with other rental-focused investors in our community.

Yes, this valuable training is free if you pay about $20 to our wonderful hosts, Buffet Star and that covers the meeting room, all you can eat, your drink and the tip. Contrary to a rumor that went around, you MUST pay for the meal to get the meeting free. It is too hard for the servers to figure out who ate. Out of respect for the speaker(s), service will not be provided during speaking. Please get your food and drink, and pay your bill before 6:45 PM. Of course you can enjoy the wonderful food at or after the meeting.
Thank you for your cooperation.
RSVP: Yes, absolutely! It's important that we RSVP for this event so that we know how to set up the conference room.
