SHORT HIGH RISK HIKE & WATERFALL RAPPELLING

Details
This is HIGH RISK hiking & rappelling on a waterfall. Yes, first time adventure seekers should go for it! Plus, this is a great way to cool off. Like always, we will complete the release form, discuss risks, develop an emergency plan for the day, conduct belay training, falling rock drills & then conduct step by step training in order to complete SPECIAL rappelling on a waterfall. . .
First, we will complete a “dry body/dry feet” rappelling training sequence and this may include: tree line and/or cliff rappelling prior to the SPECIAL get wet event phase. The terrain is rugged and includes hiking off trail. The main event will include getting your feet wet (& maybe more). Sorry, no way to avoid that. . . so prepare for that and bring dry clothes for after the event. You will bushwhack, cross moving water streams & explore varied terrain. Please bring a snack, water, bug spray, sunblock, first aid kit & extra clothes for your ride back to civilization. You must wear a tight fitting shirt that tucks into your pants/shorts/leggings. Another requirement is to keep hair under a hat or Kevlar Helmet. All equipment is provided.
