Prior to attending you must read the safety rules. This is TASK 0
This shooting program is a "go at the shooters comfort level" conducted in step by step fashion. The flexible training sequence lets first time and even those unsure about participation in shooting events feel comfortable and safe. Plus, limited experience or ready to get on-line shooters will improve. The classes go from show-and-tell to S.H.O.O.T. Everything needed for the event is provided. You get Weapon Use, Ammo, Ear Plugs, Eye Protection, Targets, Cleaning Supplies, Safety Training and Shooter Improvement Training.
MISSIONS-
#1. SHOW-AND-TELL. Short and EZ never touched a gun and maybe I won’t even shoot today BASIC WEAPON TRAINING FOR $35.00 includes learning the basic parts of weapons and ammo and how they work. Then the class progresses to firing between 2 - 5 different weapons including: .22cal, .38cal, and 9mm. (10 Rounds)
#2. BASIC WEAPON TRAINING FOR $75.00 includes firing between 3 - 6 different weapons including: .22cal, .38cal, 9mm, or 12 gauge. (25 Rounds)
#3. SKILL SET IMPROVEMENT WEAPON TRAINING FOR $125.00 includes firing between 5 - 7 different weapons including: .22cal, .38cal, 9mm, or 12 gauge. (50 Rounds)
#4. If you have your own weapon and ammo outstanding! Please bring your UNLOADED, UNLOADED, UNLOADED weapon to the range. Plus, please plan to arrive, 15-20 minutes prior to the event. At that time, I will inspect and prep the weapon for the range. The deal for you is just a $25.00 range fee. However, if you have been to an event the range fee is $10.00 That includes: range orientation, safety training, 10 range use targets or take home targets, weapon inspection prior to firing and cleaning after firing. After you RSVP please email/message me your guns make and model.
#5. Introduction to AR's. Class starts with PMCS, new barrel break in, zero procedures, and post firing PMCS. Training investment: $25.00 plus ammo fee (market rate) if ammo is provided. 5.56 or .308. Class includes: range safety brief, release form, ear & eye protection, targets, cleaning supplies, and safety training.
#6. First Time Shooter (Youth 10 - 16) This is an introduction program for youths and includes safety training, firing .410 bore shotgun and .22 rifles. $20.00 Class includes: range safety brief, release form, ear & eye protection, targets, and cleaning supplies.
TASK #0. Read the Shooter Safety Rules Introduction-
- ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS treat every firearm, gun, and boom stick as though it were loaded. Point in a safe direction at all times. Never point your firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot!
- Inspect, check, insure, and be sure the barrel is clear of any obstruction.
- After range time, store firearms and ammunition separately. Secured and locked if possible, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS out of reach of small children and other youth and those unfamiliar with firearms.
- Before shooting your firearm, be aware of your backstop, the target, what is beyond the target, things to the left and right of the target and any bystanders in your vicinity before shooting.
- Dress for the range (layers of old clothes are better than bulky coats) and always wear adequate eye and ear protection when shooting.
- Only use clean, dry, ammunition only he proper size and caliber for your firearm.
- Never lend your firearm to anyone unfamiliar with its operation or the basic rules of firearms safety.
- Never carry the firearm loaded without the safety lever ON!
- The best safety device is your own common sense. Use it .
- Make sure anyone using your fire arm understands this instruction and safety SOP.
TASK #1. Release Form, Range Safety Brief, Range Orientation and Limits, Porta Potty, Experience & Skill Level Q&A. ROE: Pick Up Brass, Replace Targets and Getting Gun Ready (PMCS) required. SAFETY TRAINING AT ALL TIMES.
