NCT Heritage Chapter Hike & Bridge Dedication

Mark your calendar for this special hike event on North Country National Scenic Trail Day sponsored by the Heritage Chapter of the North Country Trail Association.

The Heritage Chapter will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Tyler Forks Bridge and the Wisconsin State Parks 125th anniversary. In addition, the Chequamegon Chapter will celebrate significant progress to re-build a mile of the North Country Trail for hikers and bicyclists within the Park. Find the event schedule below:

10:00 am Bridge Grand Opening Celebration
11:00 am Potluck. Bring a dish to pass and your beverages. Paper plates, plastic utensils, sheet cake, and sloppy joes for 100 people will be provided.
1:00 pm Shuttle to NCT access on Highway 169. Hike to new Tyler Forks Bridge, 1.6 miles round trip. Longer hikes can be arranged.
All events begin at the new Park Pavillion (labeled the Friends Shelter on the Park map) located at the upper part of the Picnic Area. Find a park map at https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/copperfalls/maps.
