What's Up on Wednesday

Darn! Appointment was moved. So this is back on for tax day.

Trying something new and see how it goes. Feedback is welcome. Wednesday daytime events that might include, breakfast, walking or lunch. Starting with a Navy Point Walk. Daytime event is a perk of retirement!

This is a beautiful walk along Bayou Grande and the beauty includes all of the best things, sunshine, shade, water, beach and most days a breeze. The paved path is 3 miles long total. Plenty of benches along the way if you don't want to walk all of it. I walk this in an hour or less.

This is right by the Navy base ,and the blues are scheduled to have a practice flight that day at 10:30, subject to weather etc. The park allows pets and they are welcome if you want to bring them. Just know that this is a people walk so if pupper wants to stop and sniff, you'll need to catch up.

Depending on interest will have a BYOL or go for lunch after. Suggest to bring water/sunglasses/hat for the walk, and a chair and anything else you need for comfort in your car if you want to stay after.
