Omicron and Pentaho present the candy crush puzzle

Details

Welcome back from holidays and to a new Pentaho Meetup in Stockholm!

As usual, our Lead Data Scientist Kim Naess (Hitachi Vantara) will start the show with a quick walk-through of Pentaho evolving from the leader in Open Source Data Integration and Analytics space, to the speed of development at Hitachi and the exciting path going forward incorporating more and more cloud and machine learning into our platform to give you a DataOps advantage and fuel your time to insightful outcomes.

Then Kenneth Wrife, CEO at Omicron, will talk on how more and more IoT sensors are producing more and more data. To be able to handle all data, some form of edge computing is needed. The presentation will demonstrate how Hitachi Pentaho PDI is used to extract and filter data from a Hitachi LiDAR sensor. Extracted data is stored in a database and Pentaho-CDE is used for presentation in a dashboard. A live demonstration of a candy counting system will be shown on site.

Pizza and Beer/Wine will be provided as usual.

We look forward to seeing you there!
