This an intro workshop for learning Git and Gthub. Git is a version control system that many developers use in the industry. While Github is a hosting website that stores git projects. There are many Git hosting sites such as bitbucket and gitlab but Github is the most popular. So whether you are learning Git to increase your marketability in the job market or you want to increase the efficiency then check out this workshop.

The will cover:

• The basic concepts of version control

• Fundamental git commands

• How to use GitHub for ‘social coding’: pushing and pull requests
