Welcome to a momentous occasion, our first event of the meetup series: PoP - People of Product.
Do key words like “product development”, “engineering” and “start ups” sound like your cup of tea? Then this is the space for you.
People of Product (PoP) is a community for those in the product space that want to learn from and connect with others.
We run quarterly events at the Method Recruitment office in the CBD of Melbourne with top notch speakers and aim to create a community that thrives on collaboration, finding new solutions, creating new ideas; learning and of course making new friends!

Format of night:
6 – 6.30pm: Guests arrive; Networking; Pizza/Drinks
6.30pm – 7.10pm: Speakers present, 10 – 12 mins each (max)
7.10pm – 7.40pm: Panel Discussions between guests & speakers. Fireside Q&A style.
7.40pm – close: Guests welcome to have more drinks; network etc.
Our speakers
Andrew Blain
Andrew is a well known figure in the Melbourne & Australian technology scene. He boasts a career spanning since the early 2000s working in the delivery/process improvement space with enterprise leading organisations.
He then went on to co-found Australia's leading lean/agile consultancy Elabor8 before starting remote:af - the worlds first framework for effective remote working.
Jessica Bridge
Jess Bridge is a People and Culture Strategist who partners with Directors, Executives and Business Owners to facilitate organisational success. After spending nearly a decade working in Organisational Development and Management for ASX listed brands (Swisse) and a range of companies from large enterprises (Mecca) to startups, Jess knows what it takes to drive a high performance culture, manage company change and bring out the best in people unlocking individual and business potential.
She has proven success aligning structural, cultural and strategic realities of work to respond to the needs of an ever-evolving business climate. "It’s all about how well you connect with the heart-beating people, understand what really drives them and show them what is possible, but also continually adapt to their changing needs and desires”.
Jess is a certified practitioner in two leading global people diagnostics, MBTI and HBDI. Currently she is working with EngineRoom; a Remote First Digital MarTech Firm as Head of People and Culture and is now on a mission to improve and revolutionise the employee Work From Anywhere (WFA) experience.
