Schedule:

11AM: We (the encounter group) and participants-of-other-activities (see https://www.facebook.com/events/224625061068633/ ) eat pizza. The group leaders will be there to answer questions about their groups.

12PM: Activities start. The Encounter group runs until 5PM.

What is encounter?
A blanker slate for you and others, blanker and newer than your existing relationships: family, friends, job, school.
One part straight-up relationship-building.
One part supportive language-training.
One part self-imposed socratic dialogue.
You decide, moment-by-moment, who you are to others; magic happens when we do that together.
Come ready for an intense interpersonal experience.
Come ready for others to be interested in your interests.
A pulse is required; previous experience is not.

If you want, please come to the conference on the humanities the following week to talk about your experience. More info available. One of the underpinning themes of Encounter is "hear and be heard," so a conference on the humanities reflecting on experience is a natural extension.
