A shared and open space for those in the NZ talent and people profession to come together and discuss current challenges in the talent market with the aim of enabling Aotearoa to thrive through our collective effort.

This event originated from a Linkedin post where the response to the discussion was overwhelming. This challenge is a shared experience of many talent professionals and companies. The challenge comes with many layers including (but not limited to):

• closed borders in NZ
• visa processing delays
• development and promotion internally
• the experiences of candidates in high demand
• overlooked candidates and groups
• robbing Peter to pay Paul
• skill shortages globally
• salary spikes unsustainable (in some spaces)
• the ageing population
• the great resignation
